Omen Quelvog, MQFP®
Specializations:Military Retirement / Transition, Dual Military, Federal Government, Military to Contractors

Hi, I’m Omen—a retired Marine with 25 years of enlisted and officer active-duty service. As a Military Qualified Financial Planner (MQFP®), I blend technical expertise with firsthand insight into the unique challenges of military life.  I’ve felt the weight of an ill-timed PCS, balanced a single income while raising a family, and navigated deployments that re-write every budget line. Those experiences now fuel my mission: helping fellow service members, veterans, and their families build lives of purpose, peace, and financial freedom.

I started Formynder Wealth Management to serve clients the way I always believed they deserved—fee-only, fiduciary, and 100 percent client-focused. From the first conversation, we work to align your money with what matters most—whether that’s a smooth military-to-civilian transition, making work optional, launching a second-act career, or giving generously from a place of abundance.

Our planning includes advice-only, advice and investment management, and project and one-time planning options.   Additionally, we are proud to offer integrated faith-based planning to any service, filtering advice and conversations through a biblical lens.

Based in Fredericksburg, VA and operating 100 percent remotely, Formynder Wealth Management meets you wherever duty—or life—takes you, across the country or around the world. If you want a trusted partner who understands the military lifestyle firsthand and is committed to empathetic, disciplined, and compassionate guidance, I’m here to help you chart your course—and adjust as the mission changes.

Military pay and benefits can be both generous and bewildering at times. Between PCS moves, special pays, TSP choices, and retirement pay, taxes, and medical benefits, it’s easy to wonder what you might be missing. Formynder Wealth Management, LLC exists to cut through that complexity, lower the stress around money, and give service members, veterans and their families a clear plan for today, while remaining flexible for whatever mission comes next.

Our approach is purpose-driven and fully adaptable—because military life never stands still. Choose the level of help that fits:

  • Ongoing Comprehensive Financial Planning a continuous relationship focused on cash flow and debt management, tax planning, education planning, risk assessment, estate, and retirement strategies.
  • Investment Management includes everything in Ongoing Comprehensive Financial Planning with the addition of managed investments – with no investment minimum.
  • Project/One-Time Planning when you need a focused assessment to answer your specific questions or to give you peace of mind around your holistic financial picture.

If you want a partner who understands the rhythm of military life, is compassionate and straightforward, Formynder Wealth Management, LLC is ready to serve—wherever duty takes you next.

About Omen

I discovered my calling as a financial planner in 2019, after decades of juggling single-income stretches, PCS moves, and deployment budgets as a Marine. The deeper I looked into the advisory world, the more I saw high-cost products pushed on service members who simply needed trustworthy guidance. Determined to offer a better option, I began my path to become a fee-only, fiduciary financial advisor. I have passed the Series 65 exam, currently a candidate for the Certified Financial Planner ® designation (I passed the CFP® exam and now completing the experience requirement), and became a Military Qualified Financial Planner (MQFP®).

I founded Formynder Wealth Management, LLC after retiring from the Marine Corps in 2024 and completing a Skillbridge internship with the Military Financial Advisors Association—the first candidate in their program. I joined a small firm for a little over a year before deciding to open my own firm. I am active in MFAA, NAPFA and the FPA to stay sharp and connected to a community that shares my commitment to ethical, client-focused advice.

When I’m not deep in spreadsheets or video calls, you’ll find me exploring Fredericksburg, Virginia with my wife of 25 years, cheering on our grown sons in their theater and music pursuits, or serving in our local church and community. Music is a lifelong passion—I play whenever I can—and marathon running and group-ride cycling keep me moving. Those races double as our favorite way to travel; from Liverpool to Wrexham (long before the TV spotlight), we rarely miss a chance to lace up in a new city—or discover the perfect beach for a post-race recovery day.

Andrea Clark, CFP®, AFC®
Specializations:Real Estate Investing, Military Transition to Tech, & Women 50+

Hi, I’m Andie – founder of The Table Financial Planning. I am a wife, mom, grandma, small business owner, (accidental) landlord, runner, homeschooler, and family CEO through a dozen military moves.

Coffee is my BFF.

You think I’m joking.

No one joins the military to get rich, but military life affords us many ways to live richly. Add to that the constant transition of military life, and you see the need for your money to have a plan to follow. I want you to make well-informed financial decisions. My experience from being a military spouse and military financial educator will help you incorporate the unique military pays and benefits that are part of your life into that decision-making process. The end goal is managing and growing your assets in a way that lets you sleep at night. You and your family have earned it.

When I married into the Air Force nearly three decades ago, a newly-minted engineering degree in hand, I quickly found that being a practicing engineer and military spouse was going to be tough. Telecommuting and virtual positions didn’t exist, and most employers were not keen on hiring a military vagabond.

I started teaching night school math classes at every new duty station and learned that adult students of all ages paid best attention when the numbers were connected to their money. While raising and homeschooling four kids through too many deployments and PCS moves to count, I was chosen to be a 2009 FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Fellow. Soon I was an Accredited Financial Counselor® working with military members and their spouses as a personal financial counselor through a DoD contract. About the time my husband was retiring from the military, I was awarded a scholarship by The American College Center for Veterans Affairs to pursue the CFP® designation.

I founded The Table to continue educating and advising military families on their financial life journey. Today I work virtually with active duty and retired military families all over the country. I’d love for you to join me.

Specializations:Student Loan Planning, Medical Providers, Special Needs Planning

Hello and welcome! I am Adrienne, a founding partner of Clear Insight Wealth Management, a firm focused on helping those who serve chart a clear path to their best lives. From military members, Veterans, and their families to those who keep our government running and our communities safe, we are here for you.
As a military spouse, military mom, military daughter, and military granddaughter, I have experienced first-hand the way military service shapes our lives. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to life’s big questions, that’s why our firm puts clients in the driver’s seat. Today, I use my expertise to help you navigate the financial complexities that come with serving in the military, the government, or as a business owner.

At Clear Insight Wealth Management, we believe that financial planning is about more than just money. It is about aligning YOUR money with what matters most in YOUR life, whether that means planning for a second act career in international development, running a successful business, or growing your net worth to make work optional. Our clients know they can count on us to be a trusted partner on their journey, in good times and bad.
With locations in Washington State and Virginia, we are ready to serve clients in-person or remotely no matter where you are today or tomorrow.

Building, growing, and maintaining wealth while serving in the military comes with unique challenges and opportunities. I’ve experienced it myself! At Clear Insight Wealth Management, not only do we help you plan for these occurrences, but we also help you look to the future and develop agile financial plans that enable you to live your best life now while planning for success in what comes next.

Our clients rely on our dynamic approach to purpose driven financial planning. Military life is dynamic. Your financial planning should be too. With advisors in Washington State and Virginia, we’re set up to help you where you are today or wherever you may be tomorrow. We offer:

  • Ongoing financial planning
  • Investment Management

About Adrienne

Like many military spouses, I struggled building a career before virtual positions and working from home were options. My focus on financial planning grew out of my own efforts to manage our family’s money while PCS-ing more than a dozen times across six states and 3 countries accompanied by my husband’s frequent deployments.

Through these efforts, financial planning became a passion for me and spurred me to help fellow military members and families. In 2010, I was awarded the FINRA Military Spouse Financial Counselor fellowship and completed the Accredited Financial Counselor® designation soon after. I was awarded the Penn Mutual Center for Veteran’s Affairs scholarship to The American College of Financial Services and completed the ChFC® designation in 2018 and the CFP® designation in 2019. My years working with military families and running a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program led me to launch my first financial planning firm. In 2024, I joined forces with two other like-minded advisors to form Clear Insight Wealth Management. This partnership allowed us to fully integrate tax planning and investment management and further our mission of helping our clients use their money to live their best lives both now and in the future.

When I am not planning, I split my time as a nighttime babysitter for my grandbabies during Space Force launches, visiting my mom on the ranch, and exploring the PNW with my retired Marine husband on my Triumph. In spite of my hectic schedule, I will always take time to mentor other military spouse AFC®s and AFC® candidates.

Daniel Kopp, CFP®
Specializations: Gold Star Widows, Dual Military Couples, & FIRE

Hello, I’m Daniel – husband to Anna, widower to Sarah, Air Force veteran, business owner, writer, speaker, financial planner, and Christ-follower. I’m the founder of Wise Stewardship Financial Planning where we offer fee-only, fiduciary financial planning and investment advice with a special focus on young widows and widowers as well as servicemembers and their families.

I’ve always been interested in money since I was a little kid, including out-bidding my siblings for chores-for-hire, to providing loans to my siblings and friends when they had spent all their money and diligently saving my allowance for future goals. Over time this evolved into reading the stock pages in the newspaper as a young teenager and then choosing to major in economics in college. After completing Air Force ROTC at Purdue University, I commissioned as an officer into the Air Force in 2009 but continued my personal interest into personal finances, investing, and all things money-related.

In addition to being a CFP® practitioner, I’ve spent thousands of hours studying financial planning topics and am currently going deeper in the work of Financial Therapy with a Masters at Kansas State University. I also had the opportunity to be a volunteer financial counselor during many of the years when I was on active duty in addition to helping and educating family and friends over the years. Thanks to countless help along the way, I learned more about the financial services industry and found my way to fee-only, fiduciary financial planning. It was through these experiences that sparked my passion and helped me realize what I wanted to do whenever I decided to leave the military!

As an officer on active duty for almost 9 years, along with a brother, sister, and brother-in-law in the military, I experienced firsthand the benefits and challenges that military life can have on all aspects of life especially finances. Frequent changes like TDY’s, deployments, and PCS’s add unique potential opportunities and obstacles to meeting goals and dreams. Add in the often disparate and sometimes confusing military pay, benefits, scattered military benefits and discounts, and countless people offering advice or services, and there is often a lack of clarity on how best to optimize all of these to best meet goals.

I also know that grief is hard. But sometimes, determining what’s next is even harder.

I know because I’ve walked that road before. Like you, I know what loss is like and how it affects your financial life. It is my honor to compassionately guide my clients with financial planning and advice as a trusted companion in your ongoing grief journey.

Dan Huffman
Specializations: Real Estate Investing, FIRE, Veteran Entrepeneurs

Hello! I’m Dan, and I founded Cornerstone Financial Planning, LLC to help people live out their ideal life today through strategic financial planning and real estate investing. Life is too short to live with tension between our time, money, and values. The more clarity I’ve gotten on my values, the more I realized that I needed to redesign my life. I strive to live intentionally and focused on these most important areas in my life, which are my faith, my family, and making the biggest impact that I can in the world around me. My mission is to help you discover your ideal life, and then to create and carry out your personalized financial plan to make it happen!
Ideal Clients

My primary areas of expertise and that I enjoy working in the most are early retirement planning (in-line with the Financial Independence Retire Early – FIRE – community) and real estate investing. I add the most value to young(ish!) people in their 20s-50s who are looking to build wealth and replace their active income with rental income, freeing them up to take command of their time, energy, and life. However, I’ve also gotten a lot of fulfillment helping some Clients who were a little late to begin accelerating their retirement investments in preparation of a more traditional retirement timeline.

Financial Planning & Coaching for Real Estate Investors (and beginners!)
I incorporate real estate investment coaching into my ongoing financial planning process for those clients who want to pursue time and financial freedom through real estate investing but aren’t sure where to start, are afraid of making expensive mistakes, or who recognize that they simply don’t know what they don’t know about beginning to invest in real estate. My aim is to be that coach that actually knows you, your life goals, and your financial situation and has a fiduciary responsibility to you rather than some random person on the internet selling you and everyone else they can get to click their link a course with nothing but videos without any one-on-one coaching that’s in-line with your financial plan. My ongoing Clients who are real estate investors receive significant access to me for financial planning and real estate coaching so that they can make investment decisions in a timely manner with the utmost confidence. This is what I wish I had when I was starting out! The only problem with me back then? I was too cheap to pay for it and I couldn’t find anything as robust as what I wanted. But since then, I’ve come to learn the truth of Robert Kiyosaki’s quote “Experience is expensive, education is cheap”. And of course, my coaching includes the financial analyses and strategic tax planning that general coaching programs don’t include, because they can’t!

Financial Planning for FIRE
While real estate investing is a passion and one of the greatest ways that I’ve found to make an impact that extends beyond my immediately community, I’m also passionate about the FIRE community and financial education. For those of you interested in more of a beginner-level financial plan for early retirement, I offer those as one-time plans or as ongoing engagements to help plan out your desired retirement, or recreational employment as I prefer to call it! I really enjoy planning out for different phases of life and helping you envision what each might look like and how we can tax plan around those times when you may have less active income.

About Dan

My wife, son, and I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I began my professional career as an athletic trainer out of college, working at a couple different DI universities. After getting burned out, I switched to physical therapy and was accepted into the Army-Baylor Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT) Program, which was the #5 ranked program in the USA at the time. So, in 2010, I direct commissioned, and I never looked back. I spent 11 years on active duty serving as a PT and deploying twice to Afghanistan. Our last duty station was at Landstuhl, Germany, and we absolutely loved it with all the Christmas markets and how easily we could travel! We have been to 37 countries and counting! But while I loved my time serving our nation’s servicemembers, over time I became more passionate about teaching them personal finance education rather than cracking backs and stabbing people with needles (the official term is “dry needling”) and I also had a couple of key experiences that weren’t so good where I didn’t feel that the military had my best interest in mind. So, in 2021, I ETS’d and switched to the Reserve component where I plan on completing my Army career and to take a sabbatical from working full time to go through the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) educational program, which I completed and passed the exam in July 2022 before finally launching my firm in early 2023. I’m now grateful to be part of a group of advisors such as MFAA and I look forward to serving you if I’m the best fit! If not, I’ll gladly refer you to someone that I think may be better for your situation.
