Hi! I’m Kate, a founding partner of Clear Insight Wealth Management, a firm focused on helping those who serve chart a clear path to their best lives. From military members, Veterans, and their families to those who keep our government running and our communities safe, we are here for you.
As the spouse of a retired Army veteran, I have first-hand knowledge and experience of the breadth of financial decisions military families must deal with while serving. I’ve dedicated my life to helping military families navigate the complexities of military pay and benefits and be more confident with the financial decisions they make.

About Kate
In 2001, I married an Army reservist, who I met while working at Fidelity Investments. In 2010, my husband was laid off after returning from his third deployment to Iraq. It was a pivotal moment for us. We used this moment to reflect on what was really important to us and what would give us satisfaction. During this process, my husband realized that his heart was in serving his country so he went on active duty and we moved to North Carolina. It was the first time I had the chance to interact with active-duty military families. After understanding the scope of the financial decisions military families must deal with on their journey, I decided to open my own independent firm to help them navigate these decisions and be happier with the financial decisions they make. My husband is retired from the Army now and we live in Virginia. In 2024, I joined my firm with Adrienne Ross, to form Clear Insight Wealth Management, a firm focused on helping military and government workers and their families use their money to live their best lives.
When I am not planning, I spend my time traveling to visit family and friends. I’m looking for friends and family who reside outside the U.S. so she can fulfill her other passion—seeing the world. Wherever I happen to be, I love visiting museums to learn about people and history. I also love going to see theater performances. My favorite weekend activity is biking or hiking in the woods alongside the water. Most nights, you’ll either find me cooking a gourmet meal or reading a book.
